How to Create a Candidate Review for Future Use?
During the recruitment process, it’s not always possible to place every suitable candidate within the organization — whether the position was filled, the organizational need changed, or the candidate didn’t continue in the process.
That’s why it’s important to save a professional review of impressive candidates, so you can easily and quickly return to them in the future when a suitable position opens up. Such a review makes it easy to revisit the right candidates. Hunter AI allows you to document reviews in a simple, structured way within the candidate card, so it is saved and accessible to every recruiter or recruitment manager in the organization.
Opening a Review Activity
- Go to the side menu and perform a candidate search.
- Open the candidate card you want to write a review for.
- Click the lantern icon “Add Activity“ in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Creating a New Review
- In the Activity Type field, select Review.
- Enter a clear title that makes it easy to identify the content — for example: Future Potential Candidate.
- In the Related Position field, you can link the review to a specific position (optional).

In the Description field, write the review itself:

- Strengths
- Reasons for not continuing the process
- Professional impression
- Potential fit for future positions
To finish — click Add.
Managing, Viewing, or Editing Existing Reviews
All reviews are saved under the Activities tab in the candidate card, where you can:
- Edit an existing review
- Delete if needed

This way you can maintain an organized and accessible pool of potential candidates.
- View the review details by double-clicking or through the View Activity button.

Including the Review When Sending a Candidate to a Hiring Manager
When you choose to send a resume to a hiring manager through the system, you can include the saved review within the edited file (Google Drive) or in the body of the message itself.
This way, the manager receives full professional context on the candidate — from the very first stage — and can form an impression beyond what appears in the resume file alone.
